I choose BOROMIR!
I feel that I can relate to him the best. He seems the most "human" of the Fellowship; he seems "real". A noramal person. He lets everyone knows how he feels. He is tempted by the Ring and shows it. I've just really come to appreciate him more and more with every reading.

I would have to go with Faramir because I felt that he could of taken the ring from Frodo and Sam but he didin't because he could hold back. So I went with Him.

The funny thing is that when I saw this poll I immediatly though 'Ilu voted for Borimir', lo and behold I was right! May be that I have been interacting with you for a few days now *Shrugs*
None the less, I have always had a fascination with Aragorn, a King who does not wish to be King. Therefore I choose him, though I can relate to Boromir greatly.

None the less, I have always had a fascination with Aragorn, a King who does not wish to be King. You can't have a better reason than that. Aragorn's humble, wise, and he really loves Arwen. *cries* I wish I were her. (you get used to my Aragorn fanatic.) G29

Well I'll just go right to my explaination, since it's obvious who I picked. He's noble, loyal, and loves his father, brother, and home. He is taken by the power of the ring, but he redeems himself by protecting what he now understands: the fellowship, and it's purpose. A true hero.

Faramir, those they butchered him in the movie, in the book he was awesome. I loved how even though he knew that Frodo had the ring, he would not bring himself to try and take it. Shows how much willpower he had, unlike his brother . (edited - language)

i chose faramir for the same reasons as galadriel. he had to have unbelievable self-control to restrain from the ring. if he had it, his father would have liked him more than boromir (even though boromir was dead), and ultimately, sauron would get the ring back. if he weren't a choice, i would have chosen either boromir for the same reasons as iluvatar or aragorn, because he always, to the best of my knowledge, did the right thing. i thing bergil/beregond were cool, too, though. why didn't pj put him in the movie? i hate denethor (he was a lying, sneaky little *******. wicked, tricksy, false
i'm betting boromir is gonna say "no, not master"

even though eomer/eowyn/theoden were cool. they were royal, yet they interacted with their subjects.

I like Eomer. He looks cool. Of course so does Aragorn... but I like Eomer better! ^_^

Why is Faramir so popular, Aragorn's the better man, if you know what your talking about. He just so handsome when he's all sweaty like. Don't mind me, just ordinary fandom i have.
