I'm Nimrodel (duh) and I love LoTR! My mother wishes I didn't, but...oh well! I just wanted to say that Illuvatar just did a great job on this place and that everyone here is really cool!

its not the book she doesn't like, my seven year old bro is reading it, its the hollywood part  she says i waste to much time watching the movies and extra stuff. hey, i have barely watched my two towers extended at all, I don't think she really can complain! |

lol. my mom didn't have a clue about lotr but i'm making her watch the movies and read the books so at least she knows basic stuff (aragorn is a human, gimli is a dwarf - the true basics ;D)

yeah, i know what thats like. my mom thinks even the fast forward versions of the movie are to long and she likes the ents, even though she doesn't understand what they are!

I found it ironic that your mom likes the Ents - the slow, unhasty creatures of Middle-earth, yet finds the movies too long - LOL  I hope that some day she can appreciate them. Although it does sound like she likes the books, so I guess you can't have everything.  |
