Werllll,I'm one huge Pratchett fan. I've ofcourse read all the Discworld books and love them. My fav characters are the Night Watch, closely followed by the witches. Are there any other fans here and if so,let's discuss [glow=red,2,300]Discworld!![/glow]

I just read Good Omens a few weeks ago, which was my first Pratchett. In all truth, I don't believe I've ever laughed so much in such a short period of time. I'm normally a very quiet reader, so I was getting some quizzical looks from my roommates as I sat doubled up in hysterics.

Then I can recommen the Discworld novels to you Lomadia. But I wouldn't necessary start with the first 2,The color of magic and the Light Fantastic. The style and a lot of elemantary things and characters change so much for the better after those two. If you liked Good Omens, you'll probably like the witches,I think Equal Rites is the 3rd book in the series and that's with the witches and then after that there's Mort, which stars Aeria's fav character,DEATH,that's quite good and then just keep on going. LIke I said in my introduction, MY fav are the Night Watch, which are featured in small tiny parts in a lot of the books, but their first solo is in Guards!Guards! which is very good.
