Yes, it's true. JRR Tolkien is still publishing from beyond the grave. In spring 2007, HarperCollins and Houghton Mifflin will publish The Children of Hurin, originally written (though never finished) by Tolkien in 1918 and edited by Christopher Tolkien, his son. The tale of Turin Turambar is my favorite in The Silmarillion, and I'm quite keen to read a longer version of it. What are your thoughts?

Me too. Wow, that's pretty cool. The more they can publish, the better. It helps the cause to add to the lexicon of Tolkien. Helps ease debates and provide more structure.

I just finished The Children of Hurin yesterday, and I'm wondering whether anyone else here has done the same.
