If you could ask Professor Tolkien one question what would you ask?

I would ask him about Orcs. It'd be hard to choose just one question, but I think I'd ask him about female Orcs, or Orc families.

I read a review of a recently-published book on Tolkien and the First World War. What that book conjectures is that Tolkien, who was so adamently against war, wrote so much about it because he craved a clear-cut war, in which the bad guys were evil and the good guys were good, and his book supplied such a war. I think this is an adequate explanation, since otherwise the book would almost seem to support war, or at least support it as an acceptable way to resolve conflict. So I think I would ask the Professor whether or not this is true, and probably ask him more about his feelings about war and why he felt that way. Elen sila lumenn omentielvo, Lomadia

I think I would ask him about where his inspiration comes from? And/or maybe about his faith.
I'm having trouble picking just one. ;D
