Who do you think was the best actor(s) in PJ's movies?

I think the best was Aragorn. But I think the worst was, I don't think there was a worst actor.

I liked Viggo too I'm not sure about worse yet because I haven't seen all the movies yet (can't wait for November DVD). I'm not sure if there is a bad actor but maybe the way PJ interpreted some of the characters rub me the wrong way.

Viggo Mortensen is good, yes. They all are. But I wouldn't even put him on my top five though. I'd say the best was either Ian McKellan(Gandalf) or Ian Holm(Bilbo). I'd say the worst, even though they were all good, was...Cate Blanchett(Galadriel), I guess.

At the end of RotK, I was banging my fist over my cheast chanting 'Aragorn, my King' subconsiously, so you can just figure that Viggo was the best actor. the worst, is there such a thing in the movies? they were all great, no mastack there.

I like Sean Bean, I loved the way he portrayed Boromir, he was very good with the struggle of wanting the ring but not being able to get it. And the worst I gotta say would be.... um. That one door man at Bree, no wait he was good too. I dunno. Nobody

Andy Serkis was one of the best actors i thought, he did Smeagol/Gollum real well. I also thought that Viggo did very well.

I pick Sean Bean too be the best actor because the things he had to go through...
and I pick Martin Csokas (Celeborn) as worst...because...he was just dead boring but then again he was a boring character in the books so they didn't have much to work with there...

i dont think there was anybody better in the whole world than Ian McKellan to play Gandalf the grey (i dont like the white as much). I hope to see more of the grey old man in the hobbit...
the dude who played Faramir (my brain refuses to accept his real name) was the worst. i mean, come on! get a guy that can do a convincing English accent! he was weedy and annoying too.

i think both Galadriel and faramir were quite appropriate and not bad actors at all - Galadriel was great i thought (if a bit to dark) and faramir was restricted as he had to look like boromir- if there was to be a worst actor i would have to say none of the main characters - in fact i know the extras / small parts arn't really actors - but the guy who is handleing brego in the TT EE when aragorn calms brego down ( not the guy who talks ) but the other guy - he tries to give a look of amazement at aragorn but just looks so obviously some guy who has never acted before in his life - it really bugs me that bit.
