My wonderfull little cat has died, He was hit by a car, I rushed him to the vet,but there was nothing they could do. He was my best friend, and all ways made me smile, He was only 6 years old, and all white in colour, and I had had him since he was born,as I have his mum. He gave me so much love, and even came for walks with me and my dog. I feel in shock ,cant beleve he is gone. I will miss him so much, he was my little boy, ![:'(](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/weep.gif)

![:'(](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/weep.gif) So sorry Billinhobbit. That's so sad. ![:(](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/sad.gif) Did the driver stop or even know he hit your cat? Sometimes they just keep driving even when they do know. And that drives me mad.

Aww..that's so sad. I'm so sorry. When my dog died a few years ago I was really upset. I hope you get unsad really soon! ![:)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/smiley.gif) Just think of all the great times you had with your cat and how much you loved him. Maybe then you will feel better.

THANKYOU. The car did not stop, it just went off and left him. it`s a small road and hardly any cars go down it, And they all ways go slow, so i dont no wot could have happend, Someone knock`t my door and sed there was a white cat in the road,I new it was mine as I am the only one with a white cat, He was still alive wen I got to him,but in a bad way, And no sine of the car that hit him. I rushed him to my vet,and they sed it was 50/50, as he had head injures, I had to go home without him. The vet phoned two hours later to say he had died, I was crying and crying, I had been playing with him that morning outside in the sun, And now he has gone, I am haveing him cremated, as I want to put his ashes in his fav field, I use to love woching him playing in the field from my window. And he would all ways sleep on my bed at night. So lonely now without him, Going to miss him so much, Thankyou for your kind words, At leest I can come here to keep me bizzy, his name was Stimpy. Will allways love you Stimpy, xxxxxxx

I have a thought which might help you in your grief.
You could make a scrapbook/photo album/collage with pictures of your cat. That way you relive your happy memories and have something you always be able to look back at.
Just a thought. Hope it helps.

Thanks thats a good ideer. I have him on video, I filmd him one day when he came for a walk with me. It was lovely to woch him a gen , runing up trees and chaceing dogs, Im so glad I filmd him , as I can woch it when ever I like, and see him playing like he use to. I have also given him a corner of the garden that I call Stimpys corner, where I have put a bird bath and plants and flowers, yes I will get all his picks together and do wot you sed, thanks for that. lov billinx

There are some great pics there. It's hard to believe that such a mulit-coloured cat could give birth to a white cat. That's amazing and very cool! ;D

Yes, it was a bit strange. she had two white kittens from a white tom cat , that ues to hang around the house. She had never had a white kitten before, so it was nice when she had two. But I only kept the male. Wich as you can see was Stimpy. ![:)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/smiley.gif)

i hope by posting this i am not bringing up any bad memories for you - as i note it has been a few weeks since the last post in this thread - however i really wanted to offer my deepest condolences. I know i probably regret posting this but your original post reduced me to tears. I live in what should be a quiet village - but has a main road going right through it - over the years i have lost 3 cats to cars, every time they have not stopped and every time it has upset me for a long time after - eventually i decided it was unfair to keep getting cats when we were so close to the main road. the last cats we got were Ben and Max (brothers)- Ben was one of the 3 killed on the road. Im not sure why - maybe because i moved ( but only 1 house away from the main road!) or just because Max learnt better than the other cats but Max is still here today - on my knee as i speak. However i am just so paranoid of letting him out at night and am always worried about him - he's been my friend for almost 15 years and i really don't know what i would do without him - things would just feel so empty.
i can feel your pain - i am so sorry - it is a horrible thing to happen - - i and sincerely hope things have got better since.

i'm glad to hear you are feeling better, time is a great healer. thanks for wishing me a long and happy time with my max - thankfully he's not so much of a night cat as he used to be and is usually content to sleep on my bed (hogging most of the mattress i might add!). i try to make the most of my time with him as i know he is getting on and I find it sad that it is certain he will pass on well before i do. (i wish his life span would be as long as mine! reminds me of aragorn and arwen ![:)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/smiley.gif) - however it does me no good to dwell on such subjects. I'm glad to hear you have a new little doggie - i'm sure you'll both a long and happy life too. take care of yourself and your new friend ![;)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/wink.gif)
