"One felt as if there was an enormous well behind them, filled up with ages of memory and long, slow, steady thinking; but their surface was sparkling with the present: like sun shimmering on the outer leaves of a vast tree, or the ripples of a very deep lake."

"It seemed to him that he had stepped through a high window that looked on a vanished world. A light was upon it for which his language had no name. All that he saw was shapely, but the shapes seemed at once clear cut, as if they had been first conceived and drawn at the uncovering of his eyes, and ancient as if they had endured for ever."

Oh and one thing; I hope we're all in agreement on not just Googling the quotes when we give up. I know of a friend of mine on a Discworld forum who does that frequently. Not that I think you guys would!!

Oh and one thing; I hope we're all in agreement on not just Googling the quotes when we give up. I don't think any of us does that. As can be seen by the way some of these games sit unanswered for days/weeks ![:)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/smiley.gif)

No, I don't do that either. Sometimes I'll go through my books if I can't get the quote off the top of my head... Come to think of it, that should probably count as cheating...
Anyway, here's the next quote:
...Such is oft the course of deeds that move the wheels of the world: small hands do them because they must, while the eyes of the great are elsewhere.

I second that opinion.
Sorry I haven't been around. I obtained the PC version of Elder Scrolls 3. Well, I'm off to be a slave to it now.
