My favorite female character, is of course, Arwen! Cause she is so beautiful, has lovely quotes and did a good job, and has pretty outfits. Also, she got the hot man lol.

it would definatly have to eoywn. she's the only woman actualy getting up and doing somthing to help. allthe other woman, like galadriel and arwen just sit there in their preet gowns, and tell everyone that the world of middle-earth will afll fit eh don't fight, but they don't go into battle. eoywn does, thats what makes her better than the others Ulios --x--

Although I picked Arwen at the poll for the same reasons LOTRfreak said, I'll have to go with Eowyn because she's one of the bravest women I've ever seen. She wasn't thinking about the danger when she went to fight in the war and this is sth I really admire in her.

that is a very good point arwen, she went into battle because she was fighting forwaht she believed in and she was willing to sacrafice anything for it. when you belive in something so much, we see it worth dying for.

Eowyn. I mean, she killed a Nazgul for crying out loud. ![:o](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/shockers.gif) A seemngly death-less creature. She's beautiful, cold, brave, tough, and a mortal. ![;)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/wink.gif) After, I would choose Rosie. She's just sweet. ^_^

In the books I did like Eowyn the most, and when I heard Uma Thurman had been approaced to portrait her I was mortified. But when I saw the movie I really did love the way Miranda Otto did it, so I would have to say Eowyn to both movie and book (Oh by the way, I know Uma should be in another thread, I DO like her, only I don't think she could do vulnerable) elanor

Galadriel or Eowyn. Galadriel for her wisdom, grace, mystery, and mental strength. Eowyn not so much for her courage, although I do admire her loyalty to her family and people, but more for her weaknesses, such as lack of confidence and depression, to a degree. She reminds me very much of Ophelia, though certainly much more rebellious. Elen sila lumenn omentielvo, Lomadia

Galadriel. Galadriel all the way. I love Galadriel. Fearless, brave, wise, beautiful, sure she didn't do much, but well, ya know, she has this beautiful, peaceful feeling about her that I just, well, I like her a lot. It's hard to really say...

Rosie. Good ol' country girl. She's not a noble, and therefore I can relate to that sort of woman better than I can with, say, Arwen. Fit for marriage.
