yeah - lothlorien is mysterious, and it's beautiful. mirkwood would be cool, too.

My first thought was the Shire because of the the beer and pipe weed but I think I would settle in Rivendale like ol' Bilbo.

It's hard for me to choose......Rohan - I love horses to death and I think they're beautiful and they do represent freedom in a way.
I'm not sure I pick Rohan though..
Lothlorien's a nice place to live in, it has that elven yet Asianic quality to it...very spiritual in their nature.
Rivendell's a beautiful place where you can always overlook a waterfall and if you love some areas where it's exotic and surrounded by water, elegant and peaceful.
The Shire seems most peaceful and just the usual 5 things to do today lists and all but I'm not usually one to do something like that...it's green, I love the color green but y'know...
Mirkwood is a bit too...dark for my taste...it sort of gives me the creeps if I think about it...it used to be an elven paradise much like Lothlorien but was taken over my Sauron's forces. It was named Greenwood but after Sauron took over that bit it was Mirkwood so it would have some of the same darkness looming through there.
Moria....is bit too symmetrical to me....and it kinda symbolizes a crumbing government almost, which reminds me too much of our own country governments.
I'm a bit torn between Mordor and Gondor...wow this is tough... If I chose Mordor it's particularly because Minas Morgul, I've always really liked that place seeing as though it's the lair of the Witch King and used to hold on the 7 Palantiri.(as Minas Ithil).... If I chose Gondor - it'd be for Minas Tirith(Minas Arnor) which also holds a palantir. I mean, Minas Tirith - the city of Kings...
I give up - Gondor - Minas Tirith. That place just takes my breath away.

btw, it's minas anor, tower of the sun, not minas arnor. arnor it the lost realm, north of gondor.

Thank you, I always get those two mixed up.
Arnor - Anor , they're so close.

Hey ho I quite fancy Rivendell. I hear the foods very good. And some of those elves are corkers !! ![;)](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/Hannah22/Fourm/wink.gif)

I like Lothlorien, but I wouldn't want to live there because there's too much sadness about it, because the elves are leaving and it's basically dying, because when Frodo destroys the ring, the power of Galadriel to protect Lothlorien with her ring is gone.
I like the Shire, but it might get dull after awhile, so I think I'd be like a Ranger and go all over the place.

I chose Rohan, because Isengard was not on there.
But wasn't Isengard in Rohan? If so, it would have made it easier...

Minas Morgul, nowhere else would be better, sorry, I had to give my choice on this one but it wasn't there to choose from. But that is exactly where I'd live. *dreamy look*

Valmar-the city of the Valar. Or maybe Taniquetil where the elder king lives...

Im gonna have to go with the tour. Start of with a week in rivendell (hopefully they'd kit me out with some cool elven kit), cross over the pass to see the eagles then through mirkwood to see the green elves. After a few days round that area (getting chance to take in the lonely mountain and the lake people) id jump in a canoe and paddle down to lothlorien. Id most likely spend most of my time there. I love the idea of just wondering round the perfect forest. As an engineer by trade, id then have a bloody good look round moria. That was one of my fave places in the book but I wouldn’t wanna live there. After a week or two id jump back in my canoe and take the trip down to osgiliath stopping at the seeing and hearing hills for a gander. From osgiliath, id go for a quick look at cirith ungol. Id hopefully be able to see mount doom and barad-dur from the top and that would be close enough I think! The next stop would be back across the water to Minas Tirith. Again, id probly spend a week or 2 there before heading to edoras for another week or 2. From there id head north to isengard and visit the ents before turning north again. Following the west side of the misty mountains, id come to moria again where id poke the watcher with a stick before heading up the green-way to bree. From bree id head across the shire, taking in the sites. Id then hit the grey havens and hope the elves and the valar would make an exception for just one more human to cross over to the undying lands. I mean I HAVE altered the laws of time and space to be there right? They’d HAVE to let me in! XD

Rohan! What is better than a place where you can ride horses across vast grasslands? Okay...except maybe Gondor. That would be fun. And Rivendell... How about, I live in Rohan, and vacation in various lands across Middle Earth...yeah, great plan!
